The Classics Convoy is an affiliated group of Philosophy Vessel, aiming to revive the Latin language and spread interest in the Classics. The Classics Convoy offers free resources and online programs for students across the world to learn the Latin language and about Ancient Greek and Roman history and cultures. We believe that learning and engaging with antiquity enables students to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the modern and ancient world and all histories and cultures.
Introduction to Latin
This free, introductory Latin online course is designed to equip students with the fundamentals of the Latin language, including Latin translation, reading, and oratory skills.
- July-August, bi-weekly
- A curriculum based on excerpts and adaptations of Latin passages from key Roman literature, philosophy, mythology, and science, allowing students to develop understanding of not only the Latin language, but also Ancient Roman culture, history, and mythology.
